Jordan trip (2)

Our first stop after breakfast was the Citadel which is located on top of a hill.  The 2 pics below were taken from outside the Citadel:

Inside the Citadel:

The Roman Amphitheater as seen from the Citadel.  Later going there.

Lousy weather!

Super tall flag pole!

Jordan trip (1)

Finally found some time to start writing about my recent trip to Jordan. Still remember when I told my friends in HK I was going Jordan, had to clarify it's Jordan the country, not MTR station. ^^;

Anyway, arrived in Amman, the capital of Jordan, on a cold Monday morning (5 deg. Celsius). It was drizzling; coincidentally it was the first day of Lunar New Year, the year of the Water Dragon!

We went to our hotel first and I was taken aback when I visited the toilet.  Is this male or female?

After scratching my head for a while, I realized it was male, because I saw this:

The portraits showed from left to right the late King Hussein who is the father of the current king, the current king King Abdullah the Second, and last but not least, the Crown Prince.

Saw Popeyes restaurant along the road.  One thing I realized is that I don't seem to find any Popeyes restaurant in HK!

Ok, just a quick post to start the ball rolling.  Hopefully can write more before I forget.
