Upgrading HTC TyTN II to Windows Mobile 6.1

HTC finally released free WM6.1 upgrade for TyTN II, and I gave it a try yesterday night. The upgrade was quite fast and went quite smoothly. The Threaded SMS feature might take some time taking use to. Proceeded to reinstall applications, and some worked some didn't.

Ok Apps:

Not Ok Apps:

• GPRS Monitor
• Sprite Mobile Backup
  

The main reason I wanted to upgrade is that I read somewhere that WM6.1 supports encryption of entire device and not just storage card. I was very disappointed when I found out that it requires System Center Mobile Device Manager.
